A Belgium bank, had the magnificent idea of showing everybody how easy would be to steal someone´s identity and empty his bank accounts.
Check this video, and next time you are about to share sensitive information, think twice. The same agency that produced this video also created one of the most viewed ads online “A Dramatic Surprise on a Quiet Square“.
Some tips for you to be on the safe zone
1 – Do not share confidential information of your bank accounts, credit cards or online payments platforms like Paypal with anybody (email, chat, phone, etc.). If someone calls you saying they need to verify some details of yours do not believe them and report the situation to the represented company…
On January 8th 2007 in the MacWorld conference held in San Francisco, Steve Jobs was very sure he was making history and he was so confident of it that he started the event with the following words: ” Good Morning, so thank you, thank you for coming, we are gonna make some history together today” he was about to reveal the iPhone to the whole world.
A couple of days ago 6 years passed since June 29th 2007, the date the first iPhone was released, and it would be fair to say it´s also the 6th birthday of the touch smartphone as we know it. Some months ago I watched again the first iPhone presentation by Steve Jobs, you can notice the strange reaction of the people, on some things they were astonished, on others they couldn’t really understand what was going on, the shock was too big. Some weeks ago I had a couple of job interviews, and in one of them the manager commented me: “We need someone really crazy about technology”. I couldn’t stop smiling the rest of the interview, its just that when you hear all the things the job is about and you feel that 90% of them match with what you´ve been doing and you want to do in the future, it was very difficult to clear the smile on my face.
My passion for technology started when I was in primary school, so that was around 1990 or so, I was 10 years old and I was asking all the time DOS commands to a friend who already had a computer for years (I didn’t even have one yet). Then after an incredible amount of hours on BBS´s (Oh, I really got into many troubles with my dad and the phone bill) and afterwards on the Internet researching, learning, chatting with people on the other side of the world (yes it was incredible at that time!) it was inevitable, I was passionate about technology… (more…)
On Monday the 2013 Apple developer´s conference (WWDC) was held in the Moscone Center in San Francisco. There have been a lot of speculations around what the fruit company was going to announce, here is a sum up:
iOS 7
A new version of the OS for Apple mobile devices has been announced, developers have access to a Beta version since Monday at the conference and for the rest of us (mortals) we will have to wait for September / October for a final release.
