Not so long ago I opened the “magic” box of podcasts, till now and I don’t know why (maybe because I didn’t find the right time) I wasn’t listening to any of them nor knew the guys that were worth to listen. Some weeks ago I started to follow TWiT a Netcasts network, in fact, one of the most popular broadcasts on the internet created by Leo Laporte.
I found the time and place to listen to Leo´s podcasts, my car. I have around 50 minutes of commute time from my house to the office and as I cant read (cause I am driving :P) this was a perfect occasion to listen to podcast´s. I have to say, Leo and his colleagues are awesome, they are funny, they entertain you while giving you information about all the tech stuff you love in a clear way…
A Belgium bank, had the magnificent idea of showing everybody how easy would be to steal someone´s identity and empty his bank accounts.
Check this video, and next time you are about to share sensitive information, think twice. The same agency that produced this video also created one of the most viewed ads online “A Dramatic Surprise on a Quiet Square“.
Some tips for you to be on the safe zone
1 – Do not share confidential information of your bank accounts, credit cards or online payments platforms like Paypal with anybody (email, chat, phone, etc.). If someone calls you saying they need to verify some details of yours do not believe them and report the situation to the represented company…
I have a lot of friends who play Candy Crush Saga on Facebook. I really don’t play much anything and it is starting to be irritating to have a lot of automatic posts in my Facebook timeline about how my friends are doing with their game progress.
I don’t blame them, they probably don’t know that this is happening or maybe they totally ignore these messages as most of them are fans of the game 🙂

I usually help a lot of friends and family with their computer problems and doubts, I also help them to decide which computer, peripheral or accessories to buy when the opportunity arrives.
One of the most frequent questions I receive is, OK, I have my new computer, and now what?
I personally like to configure things a certain way, install certain applications that will allow me to do almost anything I will need to do with the computer. So whenever a friend asks for help I try to commit the same way with them as if it was my own computer.

Hi there! Just wanted to share with you a request I´ve just submitted to Facebook.
Hi, I´ve been adding a lot of pictures from my life. I´ve added the date or the year the picture was taken. As I find more pictures I add them, but the problem is that then they are all mixed up in the album. I am a baby on the first picture and the second one maybe is when I was 30.
I know I could arrange all the pictures by dragging and dropping the albums but when you have a lot of pictures it really takes a lot of time.
It would be great if you could implement a “Sort” button, allowing us to click there and make sure all the pictures we add are shown according to the date we defined in chronological order. Basically the same thing Facebook already does with the Timeline itself but for albums.

Some days ago I´ve installed Windows 8 and all my motherboard drivers. Since then I was having trouble getting audio from my headphones (which are connected to the front panel of my desktop computer) and through my speakers which are standing beside my monitors and have a volume control wheel.
The idea is to have both of them always plugged, whenever I want to use the speakers I turn the volume up on the speakers and if I need to use headphones I just get my headphones on and lower the volume from the speakers. (more…)
